It's been a sad yet busy few weeks. Losing my friend and agent was tough, but since I was working with her,
I've spent a lot of time helping the authors in her agency figure out their next steps since the agency is closing. In some ways, being busy when emotions are hard is good because you have something else to focus on. But they don't go away, do they? In the quiet moments, I remember she's gone and that's tough.
But she was a big supporter of me and all her authors, and so I'm pulling myself together and looking at my writing schedule for 2024. I've got lots of plans (I always do 😆) and a bit more free time to focus on writing.
2024 Plans Include:
❤️Website revamp (it needs an update, don't you think?)
❤️And of course...write books starting with finishing the ones I've started (Come to Me - Southern Heat #4, Valentine #8, and my witchy rom-com/mystery).
To achieve all this, I need a planner 😆 (you know I love planners!!) I was going to stick with what I had because I have a lot inserts, notebooks, and undated planners. But of course, watching YouTube, I was dazzled by
a new planner, Lauren Denise. It's huge when open, which I'm not sure about, but as an out-of-site-out-of-mind person, the idea of having my month, week, and day all at a view is appealing to me.
I bought the mini-size because the regular is 25 inches wide
when open. But the mini only comes in a horizontal weekly spread. I'm a vertical planner. Still, I figured I could draw lines downward and turn it into a vertical. We'll see.
Of course, this won't be my only planner. I picked up the new Passionate Penny Pincher planner to organize my home/life schedule. I'll also have my Mickey Mouse Happy Planner that I've had for years and still love that
will house all my business stuff. And I'll have a big Happy Planner for my book projects using my The Romance Author's Novel Organizer printables.
I'm sure that won't be all...did I mention I'm a planner addict?
❓Do you use planners or bullet journals? Which do you love?
