Hi ,

I made it home from our week trip that took us all over the place from Virginia to New York, to West Virginia and Maryland, and a short stop in Pennsylvania. My husband had the best time in Seneca Rocks, WV where he could rock climb. I stayed in our hotel and wrote :) 

For me, the highlight was Inn Boonsboro, MD, the hotel that Nora Roberts' restored. I would have loved to stay more than one night, but it's a bit spendy. Still, to me it was worth it. 

We stayed in the Nick and Nora room (you know how I love sleuthing couples) and it was gorgeous. It makes me want to decorate my home in 1930's art deco. 

The baths have heated towel racks and floors, which has to be nice in winter, but it was hot and humid when we were there. Each room has a bidet. Have you ever used one? This one is part of the toilet, which also has a sensor that raises the lid, flushes, and closes the lid automatically. I almost thought I was in the Eve and Roarke room. 

Is that TMI? 

I posted pictures and a video in the SweetHarte group if you'd like to see how georgous this place is. I wasn't there long, but I tried to soak it all in from enjoying the library (and a free Irish whisky as I read), the balcony, the lovely bath tub, and the free wine and snacks at 5 pm.
