Wow. What a fun trip I had to NYC to attend Thrillerfest. I've been to many events and have met some big-wig authors, but never before had I been in the same room with so many of them. Here's a picture of Heather Graham interviewing Diana Gabaldon.
Everyone, including Heather Graham, was envious of Diana's story from wannabe-writer to published author, and now an international best selling author with a TV show. She's really nice so while there's envy, there's no negative thoughts👩🦰
I was also in the room with Lisa Gardner, Veronica Roth, Karen Slaughter (who is hilarious!), and more. My table-mate during the signing was Mark Greaney, who writes The Gray Man books, soon to be a Netflix movie.
The thing that stood out to me was how nice all of them were. If you're a writer that has suspense, mystery or espionage in your books, this is an event you should attend. If you're already traditionally published, you can join International Thriller Writers
for free. Otherwise, it's $95, but it's worth it because of all the support and resources it offers through it's website.
Writing Life
While at Thrillerfest, I came up with several new book ideas! Right now I have 16 book ideas in my database and a few of them are series ideas. I sure wish I was a faster writer so I could write them all this year!
My priorities (for today) are to finish book four of the Southern Heat series, which is taking off again. My sales are up for Drawn to Her, which is in KU and now has a new print edition. I also want to finish the re-write of Endangered from third person to
1st, like I did for Risk It All. Max and Madeleine's story.
Review Reminder
If you received an ARC of Dead but Not Forgotten, or bought it, can you please leave a review? It would mean so much to me!🧡
If you've read any of my books, but haven't left a review, it would mean a great deal to me if you did. Reviews are extremely helpful to authors.
