Hi ,

I know I talk about weather a lot, but on Sunday it snowed and the last two days it's been 70 degrees! I'm not complaining. I like 70 degrees and no humidity.

 

 

I just signed up to attend Creatures, Crimes, & Creativity this year. I went once before the pandemic and really enjoyed this event. It's big, yet there's an intimacy to it. Everyone there was so great and approachable.

 

The event isn't until September, but I've got things to do to prepare. Number one, order new print covers for my books. They all have new covers for the ebook, but I haven't done the print yet.

 

I really like my cover designer, but it gets expensive, especially if you're ordering 9 of them. It has prompted me to want to learn Photoshop better than I do. The problem with that is that I don't know graphic design. I realized I signed up for Skillshare awhile ago and haven't taken any classes. Turns out they have some on graphic design, Photoshop, and book cover design. We'll see how it goes. I'm not very artistic.

 

I don't know how you feel about social media, but I find it really difficult to keep up with it all. I recently took a workshop on how to get off social media even if you have a business (being an author is a business). Now I don't intend to leave social media entirely, but I want to make some changes. One is that I want to engage with readers the easiest way possible, and that is through the SweetHarte group on Facebook.
