I hope your 2022 is going well so far! Now that I have Internet back after a week without, things are going better.
I'm writing, writing, writing. In fact, I wrote this not so long ago for the next Valentine novel:
Her good friend, and Jack’s sometimes nemesis, Detective Daniel Showalter strode toward her along with a sheriff’s deputy she didn’t know. She looked at Daniel’s face, which was often tense with annoyance, but this time, was filled unease.
Tess shook her head as all her worst fears crushed down on her. “No.” She stepped away from them, as if that could stop the bad news from being true.
“Tess, it’s not what you think,” Daniel said.
She swallowed as Daniel reached her. He looked like he wanted to touch her, to support her, but he didn’t, which told her he was staying professional.
She reached out to him, clutching his forearms. “Daniel. Please. Please don’t tell me Jack is dead.”
If all goes according to plan, I'll have some exciting news about this installment of the Valentine Mysteries very soon. I hate to be coy, but I don't want to jinx things either.
I've also started posting it to Wattpad. If you read stuff over there and wouldn't mind giving Deadly Valentine some love, I'd appreciate it. You can see it here: Deadly Valentine on Wattpad
Still not the right format for you? Deadly Valentine is on the Scream App and KISS app as well. I don't have a link for KISS, but you should be able find it by title or my name.
And of course, if you like Deadly Valentine and want to read more about Jack and Tess, and the love, murder, and mayhem, you can get the next 5 books for half off the price you'd get at retailers.
