I'm back from the C3 conference and what a fun time I had. Usually I go to mystery conferences, but C3 covers most fiction writing including romance, mystery, thrillers, sci-fi, fantasy and more. One panel I was on with Julie Hyzy and Jennifer Winters discussed writing about fear and it was interesting to hear how each genre used fear in their writing.Â

BTW...I did fan girl a bit when Julie bought a copy of Death of a Debtor! Her White House Chef cozy was one of the first cozy mysteries I'd ever read!

Now I'm home and it's to get back to writing. My current focus is finishing book 3 of the Sophie Parker Mysteries, and next up will be writing a fourth book for Southern Heat, and then...a novella for the Valentines. I'm missing Jack and Tess a little bit! Are you?
