💕 Books to TV: What would you like to see?

Hi !

Many books have been turned into TV shows over the years. While it happened before True Blood (based on Charlene Harris' Sookie Stackhouse books), I feel like that show really got the ball rolling. Then came Game of Thrones and Outlander. Two other of Charlene's books have been turned in to TV shows or movies (Midnight Texas and the Aurora Teagarden series). Many of the Hallmark Channel mysteries are based on cozy mysteries. The Magicians, The Handmaid's Tale, and Good Omens are also based on books. I've been waiting for A Discovery of Witches to make it to U.S. tv or streaming for a long time. Plus there are many, many more.

But there are some books that I think are being overlooked. I'd LOVE to see J.D. Robb's In Death books on a paid network like HBO. I also would like to see Janet Evanovich's and Lee Goldberg's Fox and O'Hare series on TV. Stephanie Plum would be fun too (I was disappointed in the movie).

As it happens, there's a media company looking for cozy mysteries and my agent has sent my new cozy about Sophie Parker for consideration. Do I think Sophie, Aunt Rose, AJ and Bull will make it to the little screen? No. But it doesn't hurt to hope ;)

📚Read, Reading, and TBR

Do you ever find that your TBR list is too big to ever get through in this lifetime, and yet the next book you read isn't in your pile, it's one you just bought at the bookstore? That's almost always the case with me. How about you? How big is your TBR and are you actually reading the book on it?

Slow Ride by Lori Foster: I just picked this up at the bookstore. I haven't started it yet, but look forward to reading it.
