I've had a really interesting thing happen to me: I had a book come out this week and it hasn't received any promotion. I had planned for a big launch party, but my publisher put the kibosh on it until March. I guess through a series of unfortunate events, there was concern the book wouldn't be ready. However, it is for sale on Amazon and Barnes and Noble (print only). So, if you're wondering what happened to Death of a Debtor, that's it. It is out, but the official launch fun won't start until March.

📚Facebook Fun! I was at Belle's Book Talk last night for an author takeover. I had lots of fun meeting new romance readers, talking chocolate, food, romance, and more. This is a group that talks about romance and has frequent author takeovers, so if you enjoy those two things, you might want to check it out.

Read, Reading, and TBR

I recently read:

JD Robb's new book, Connections in Death: After 60 books (including the novellas) you'd think I might be tired of Eve and Roarke, but no. I always love entering their world. I will say, some books are better than others. The last few books I've really enjoyed, and this one was no different.

I recently listened to on Audible:

Right now, I'm listening to Emma Chase's Royally Yours. I really enjoyed the previous installments of this series about a couple of princes, and a bodyguard. This one tells the story of the queen. It's pretty intense at the moment, and we still haven't gotten to the romantic bits.

Reading/Listening

When Darkness Ends by Alexandra Ivy. I've never read her books, but I was intrigued by an Irish vampire and fairies. I've been researching Irish lore for my Hot Shots romance series I'm working on, so I thought I'd read something from someone who is also using Irish lore. This is the latest book in a series of many. I don't feel like I've missed anything by starting at the end, but I'm not that far into the book yet either. Interestingly, the cover for the ebook is different than the cover for the print. I've never seen that before.
