Read, Reading, and TBR
I recently read:
- The Boy, by Tami Hoag. I have long enjoyed Tami's books, but my faves are those that take place in Louisiana! Tami started as a romance writer and now writes gritty crime/suspense. In the 1990s, the two merged into books like Cry Wolf and A Thin Dark Line. The Boy has the same characters from A Thin Dark Line, which made it fun to read (you know how I love to read about couples).
I recently listened to on Audible:
- Right now, I'm listening to Emma Chase's Royally Yours. I really enjoyed the previous installments of this series about a couple of princes, and a bodyguard. This one tells the story of the queen. It's pretty intense at the moment, and we still haven't gotten to the romantic bits.
Reading/Listening
- JD Robb's new book, Connections in Death, dropped on Tuesday. Normally, I'd have finished by now, but I'm about halfway through. After 60 books (including the novellas) you'd think I might be tired of Eve and Roarke, but no. I always love entering their world. I will say, some books are better than others. The last
few books I've really enjoyed, and so far I like this one too.
