Last weekend I attended my first in-person event. I took the train up with my agent and spent two days with other writers. I was masked whenever I was in public, which, of course, was hard as the hours ticked away, but was worth it. I get so much energy spending time with other writers.

Do you have a hobby or passion that nurtures your soul or energizes you?Â
Â
While I was at the conference, several interesting offers came my way. The conference organizer enjoyed my talk and encouraged me to come back next year! That's always a good sign, especially when I thought I messed up because I'd finished the talk sooner than I'd planned. Fortunately, there were lots of questions.
Â
Another was from a well-known expert in the publishing industry who asked if I'd turn my talk into a webinar.Â
Â
Finally, I was asked about writing inspirational romance. That one I'm toying with. I still have to finish so many other books...the Valentine train novella, Valentine book 7, and Southern Heat book 4.Â
Â
There was one more interesting offer but I can't share it at this time.Â
Â
What a great trip!

What do you enjoy about my books?
I'm reading a marketing book that suggested that I ask my readers what they enjoyed about my books. The idea is that if I understand what attracts you to the books, I can market better to find more people similar to you to read them.Â
Â
If you could hit reply and tell me what you enjoy about them, I'd appreciate it!Â
