I'm nearly finished re-publishing the Valentine Mysteries on other ebook platforms! I have one more, Truly, Madly, Deadly, to upload.Â
Â
Also, here's a fun fact; The Valentine Mysteries will soon be available on the Scream App, which is an app that serializes stories.Â

Valentine Teaser
Â
I'm making headway on the Valentine Train novella. Here's a little teaser:
Â
A woman, Josie, has apparently abandoned her baby with Jack and Tess, who aren't quite sure how to care for a baby. In this little vignette, Jack has left their sleeper car to find food, leaving Tess alone with the baby. Jack is gone a long time, and is just arriving back at the start of this scene:
Â
Tess unlatched the lock and flung the door open. “What took you so long?” She probably looked crazed as she hurried back to a crying baby.
“I went to Josie’s car to see if anyone had seen her or knew what happened.” He set a cardboard tray on the table. “I got coffee, hot water, and an egg burrito. I figured we could unwrap it and give him the egg.”
At least Jack remembered the food. “Can you distract him while I figure out the formula? Maybe give him some of the egg?”
“Me? Why don’t I make the formula?"
She stared at Jack. “Are you afraid of him?”
Jack looked from her to the baby. “Maybe. He’s so little.” He gave her a sheepish smile. “I’ve never been around a baby.”
“Me neither. How can you expect us to have kids though if you’re afraid of them?”

Do You Read Short Fiction?
I asked this in the SweetHarte group, and would like to hear from you. I noticed that on Amazon, you can search for books by how long it takes to read them. You can find novellas in various genres that take as little as 15 minutes to read or up to two hours.Â

Do you read short fiction from Amazon or other places?

Thank you for all your support! I really do appreciate you!
