I'm sorry was MIA last week. As I mentioned in an earlier email, I had to go out of town on a family issue. We recently learned my mother-in-law has cancer and it's been pretty scary for us all. She's doing well physically and emotionally, which was an inspiration to me. She was truly living in the moment despite the uncertainties and knowing the difficult road ahead. It has made me stop to ponder my own life and if I'm truly savoring it.
I've recently heard stories on the news that the pandemic has had a similar effect on people. Just like after 9-11, people are taking a look at their lives and making changes.
I'm fortunate that I have a wonderful family and work I enjoy. Even so, I'm looking at ways infuse more bliss in my life and taking time each day to savor what I have.
How about you? Has the pandemic or any other life event had you changing your life? What changes have you made?
