I'm finally recovered from my trip to Boonsboro. What a lovely town it was. I definitely want to go back!
Â
But now it's on to real life...or in my case, living in a fictional world. I've been reading a few books by a successful author that has me re-energized to write and publish more. I have this fantasy of releasing a book every month in 2022, as well as the 3 or 4 I have planned for the rest of 2021. If I can get my life rescheduled, that could be a possibility.Â
Â
In the meantime, I preparing for the release of the second Sophie Parker book. Book releases can be stressful. For one, there's the worry people won't like it. So far, early reviews are good (yay!).
Â
Second, even good books don't always sell. The release of the first book had a few issues that really bummed me out. I'm hoping this book will do better.Â
Â
Third, I have to be out of town on release day for a family issue. As much as I love Sophie and my books, family has to come first. I just hope I've done enough advanced promotional set up that on July 14, 2021, the book will be a big success!
