Sometimes I think I'm an ADHD writer. I have so many characters and plots vying for attention in my head that I'm constantly distracted by them. I desperately want to write new Valentine books (several are started), but I also want to finish the rewrite of the second Delecoeur book and add to their series. Then there's all the new characters who prattle in my head wanting their stories told. It's maddening sometimes.
One character that I've loved writing has been Sophie Parker and her quirky cast of family and friends. Poor Sophie has had a challenging few years, not just in the book, but the book itself. Death of a Debtor released February 2019, but due to some tech issues, the ebook cover was missing on Amazon, and
the release day wasn't as successful as I'd hoped. It really took the wind out of my sails.
I've been determined that the release of Death of a Coupon Queen would go better. Of course, that's still to be seen. The original release date for the book was February 2020...then February 2021...and now...July 14, 2021. There were lots of reasons for the delay mostly due to the pandemic.
But now she's back! Today, Sophie re-enters the world with a whole new mystery to solve involving her coupon mentor and her high school nemesis. Plus the rest of the cast of characters are back including cantankerous great Aunt Rose, Bull the biker with the heart of gold, AJ, Sophie's airplane repo boyfriend, Sergeant Davis, aka Sergeant Scowl, and, of course, Sophie's coupon crew.
Death of a Coupon Queen is Here!
