Hi !
This week I head to Maryland for Malice Domestic, a conference for mystery (mostly cozy) readers. I'm overwhelmed by the amount of events going on. Panels, signings, special parties, and more. I have more items on my calendar for Friday and Saturday than for most of the month!
I'm going to be on a panel about second acts, which we (moderator and panelists) weren't sure what it meant; the author's second act or our characters. I wasn't sure Tess would fit, until I remembered I burnt her law practice down so I wouldn't have to continue writing her as a lawyer. It took me two more books to figure out what new career she'd have, which is a bit dumb on my part because it seems so
obvious.
Truly, Madly, Deadly: Valentine Book Six
You probably won't believe this, because it's taken me waaaaaayyyy too long to write this book, but Truly, Madly, Deadly is now in the hands of my editor! There is
still more I need to do before it's ready to publish, but I will be sooooo happy to have this book done. I don't know why it took me so long to write. I just hope it will be worth the wait on your end.
