Hi !
I think I've heard interesting factoids and anecdotes throughout my life, but only now, as a fiction writer, do I stop and think, "That should be in a book." My step father has often said, "February is like a month full of Mondays," which I agree with, and if you read Deadly Valentine, you know Tess does
too. After binge watching Airplane Repo, I decided I needed to include it in a book.
Sometimes I learn or hear interesting things in my research. The Love Lore video series shares some of the folklore, mythology, and fairy tales I've learned about for the character in my new cozy mystery series. I included interesting factoids about the Hope Diamond's history, as well as Louis XIV's life in With This Ring I Thee Wed. But probably
some of the most memorable info and stories I've heard so far have to be during my research on moonshine.
I've started another video series on Fact In Fiction, with the first episode sharing what I learned about moonshine and how it showed up in Meant to Be: Southern Heat Book 2. You can watch it here: Fact In Fiction: Moonshine
