Welcome to Jenna Harte's Updates
Hi !

Just in time for cold winter nights is Southern Heat! The Southern Heat ebook box set is now here! You can get all three books, Drawn to Her, Meant to Be, and Wed to You, for less than $10 (at Amazon), or you can get it at Nook and Kobo too (you can get all retailer links on my website here).

Maybe you've already got Southern Heat and you're looking for some other hot romance to read. My author friend, Lexi Lawton, has a new book coming out October 16, 2017, and if the male protagonist's name doesn't make you stomach flutter, certainly the book cover will. Called Chasing Xander, the book is a sexy new adult romance between college playboy Xander, and feisty, yet innocent, Kylie.

Lexi has two free ARCs (advanced copies) that I'm allowed to give away. The first two who reply to this email with an answer to the question below get a copy:

What do you think of of the cover of Chasing Xander?

Also, be sure to visit Lexi's website to learn about her and all her books.

Do you bullet journal? I'm not particularly artistic or creative visually, but I'd like to be. So I'm trying my hand at bullet journaling, starting with a writing journal.

National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is coming in November. I participate every year, but this year, I plan to organize myself better than I have in the past. Writing 1,667 words a day (to reach 50,000 words in 30 days), isn't hard at all, IF I know what I want to write. More often than not, in mid-November, the words peter out, and reaching the goal becomes increasingly difficult.

So this year, I'm going plan and plot more, which is what I'm going to use the bullet journal for. I just posted a video (that thing took 8 hours to upload!!! But don't worry, it's only about 25 min long), that outlines my strategy for planning in October, as well as shares what I've put in my bullet journal to help me organize and prepare for NaNoWriMo.

You can see the video along with links to the tools and resources at JennaHarte.com or on my Youtube channel.

If you bullet journal, I'd be curious about your thoughts, tips, and ideas.

BTW...if you participate in NaNoWriMo, I'm part of a NaNoWriMo Diva Facebook group that offers daily word count reminders, support, commiserating and more. Perhaps you want to join us :)

    Read, Reading, and TBR

    Read...

Ack...I didn't read hardly at all this last week.

    Reading...

I'm still reading The Fortune Teller by Gwendolyn Womack, about an antiques appraiser for an auction house who finds a manuscript written during Cleopatra's time.

Next up on my to-be-read (TBR)...

Have you ever noticed the TBR list never gets smaller, no matter how many books you read? Here's what's currently on my list:

The Spellman Files by Lisa Lutz
The Winter Sea by Susanna Kearsley
Macrame Murder by Mollie Cox Bryan
Murder in an Irish Village by Carlene O'Conner
Grave Errors by Carol J. Perry (maybe I'll read this next since it's nearly Halloween).
A Deadly Cliche by Ellery Adams

Have you read any of these?

What have you read, are reading or is sitting on your TBR?

    Last but not least....
