Welcome to Jenna Harte's Updates
Hi !

Thank you to all of you who've bought Wed to You, came to the release party and have left a review. Your support means so much to me!!!

If you've bought and read the book, but haven't reviewed it, please, please, please consider leaving a review. They make such a difference, especially at places like Amazon, which uses reviews, among other things, to help it decide what books will get more attention.

Read Chapter One of Wed to You

If you haven't bought Wed to You because you're not sure about it, you can read chapter one where you'll meet Chelsea Beemer, Jagger Talbot, and Kaden Talbot, the five year old Jagger is raising. So far, reviews have indicated a special fondness for little Kaden.

Wed to You is a marriage-of-convenience story, that explores love, loyalty, and trust. I hope you'll check out the excerpt!

    Book Updates

Book one in a brand new cozy mystery series will be heading to my agent on Friday. Beta readers have been positive about the book. One of the readers is a big 5 cozy writer...so I'm pretty psyched about her endorsement of the book.

What's a cozy? Within the mystery book genre, a cozy is a mystery with an amateur sleuth (usually a woman) living in a small town. The books have no violence, no swearing, and no love scenes (which is why technically the Valentine mysteries aren't cozies). The cozy is often associate with Agatha Christie's Miss Marple series. Murder She Wrote would be another type of cozy mystery.

I'm about half-way done with the sixth Valentine book, but don't have an estimated publishing date yet. Sorry :( I'm also still working on moving all the Valentine books to other platforms besides Kindle. Right now the first three books are available on Nook, iBooks, and Kobo as well as Amazon. Visit the Valentine book page at JennaHarte.com to see the info and links, or visit your digital bookstore.
    Read, Reading, Releases and TBR

    Read...
I beta read a little romance from a writer friend of mine. It's part of a series of novellas that take place in the Napa Valley of California...not far from where I grew up! I'll let you know when it's published!

I'm also listening to Lauren Blakely's new book, Full Package on audio when I run. If you like sexy romance, you might enjoy her series of books (Big Rock, Mister O, Well Hung). They're sexy, but I wouldn't put at erotica levels. What I enjoy is that they're told almost entirely from the male protagonists point of view. They're not necessarily for everyone...these guys are a little cocky (but have endearing qualities), but I think the reader is fabulous and Blakely is a good writer.

    Reading...

Echos In Death leaped to the top of my reading list because I love JD Robb's In Death books. I'm only a few chapters in, but as always, I'm loving Eve and Roarke and the rest of the gang.

Do you have an author that no matter what, when the book comes out, you buy it that day and start reading right then? I've posed this question on Twitter and Facebook, if you'd like chime in (FB: https://www.facebook.com/JennaHarteAuthor/posts/1253620454713746)

Next up on my to-be-read (TBR)...

This isn't all that's on my TBR...but it should get me through February (I'm sooo behind in my reading!)

What have you read, are reading or is sitting on your TBR?

Right now, my next committed engagement is April 8, 2017 at the Roanoke Authors Invasion, a book signing event. I won't be at the RT conference in Atlanta after all :( I just have too much going on that week to justify the stress it would take to fit it all in.
